A graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic West, Dr. Sobel has been treating patients
in pain since 1995. Dr. Sobel develops treatment protocols using a variety of chiropractic
approaches, including Gonstead, Diversified, Activator, Drop techniques, and SOT.
The care plans that he develops include physical therapy modalities, nutritional
counselling, and supplementation as well as a hands on approach to rehabilitation,
including strengthening and flexibility training. His patient roster is highly diverse:
from professional athletes to weekend warriors, and from 2-day old babies to 100-year-old
seniors…and Dr. Sobel has helped them all.
Dr. Sobel is the owner and chief instructor of the Academy of Traditional Asian Fighting
Arts as well as the East Coast representative and regional director for Pentjak Silat
USA. He is currently the sports physician for Shingitai Jujitsu’s competitive team.
As a skilled martial artist and competitive athlete, Dr. Scott Sobel doesn’t like
sitting on the sidelines – and he knows you don’t either. Unlike other healthcare
professionals, Dr. Sobel won’t tell you that “rest is the best medicine.” Whether
you are looking to move around pain-free or you want to gain a competitive edge to maximize
your performance, he will find the fastest way to help you achieve those goals.
